Other Information:
Emily is currently a sophomore at Concordia
College pursuing a nursing degree and pursuing a career as a Certified
Diabetes Educator. She has been a diabetic for 13 years and aspires to
raise awareness and education with the emphasis that diabetes does not
have to control your life as long as you have control over your
diabetes. Emily enjoys all sports but is most passionate about hockey
which she played for 12 years. Emily is active in her church and was
recently a voting member at the 2009 ELCA Churchwide Assembly
representing the Northeastern Minnesota Synod.
